Bicycle Longmont is committed to working with the City of Longmont and Boulder County to create safe, accessible, and convenient places for residents and visitors to ride bikes. Below is a list of area groups, councils, and committees whose work impacts bike access and infrastructure in Longmont.
TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY BOARD
The Transportation Advisory Board consists of seven (7) members appointed by City Council to serve three (3) year terms. The primary function of the board is to advise the City Council on all modes of transportation in the City of Longmont. The Transportation Advisory Board reviews local and regional transportation issues and makes recommendations to City Council.

BICYCLING ISSUES COMMITTEE
The City hosts a Bicycle Issues Committee the fourth Monday of each month. Members of the public are welcome to share their concerns about the bicycling environment and offer suggestions on how to make improvements.

The Mayor and Council members are the leaders and policy makers in the community elected to represent various segments of the community and to concentrate on policy issues that are responsive to residents' needs and wishes.
